Fund overview

Charter Hall Maxim Property Securities Fund (Maxim) is an actively managed fund that invests in a portfolio of ASX-listed real estate securities, providing a diversified and liquid investment in property.

Maxim aims to provide investors with income and capital growth generated from real property via real estate investment trusts and property related securities listed on the ASX. Maxim seeks to outperform the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Accumulation Index (“Index”) by 1.5% per annum after fees and costs over rolling three-year periods.

Strategy

  • Invest in a diversified portfolio of property/real estate related securities with quality management and assets as determined by our upfront and ongoing due diligence;
  • Manage the portfolio according to our high conviction strategy, investing in no more than 20 securities;
  • Actively identify opportunities where securities may be mispriced and take a long term view on quality managers and assets;
  • Apply a repeatable process with rigid portfolio controls, reviewing each investment with our proprietary research strategy, our portfolio construction methodology and appropriate risk controls.

Why invest?

  • Access to a concentrated portfolio of ASX-listed securities focused exclusively on the property sector
  • Ability to unlock value by investing outside of the Index
  • Experienced management team and long track record of outperformance
