Supporting vulnerable youth

We’re focused on creating meaningful, long-term employment opportunities for vulnerable young people, and at 360 Queen Street that focus comes to life through our partnership with Brisbane Youth Service (BYS).

BYS supports young people and young families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, offering free, critical services including emergency relief, housing support, mental and physical health programs, drug and alcohol services, parenting assistance and domestic violence interventions.

Our team has supported BYS through hands-on volunteering, fundraising events, and donation drives for furniture and pantry essentials across our assets – helping to create safer, more stable futures for young people in Brisbane.

Delivering a new era of social partnership

Since 2015, Two Good Co. has been dedicated to supporting and empowering women who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, and complex trauma. Through employment and meaningful opportunities, they help rebuild self-worth and independence, often transforming lives in the process.

Charter Hall has integrated Two Good into its value chain by shifting annual spending toward social procurement. This strategic move has allowed Two Good to scale its operations and broaden its reach within the communities it serves. The partnership spans various services, including place activation, catering, and events across Charter Hall’s assets, benefiting multiple sectors and customers.

In the past two years, Charter Hall has procured nearly $620,000 worth of Two Good’s soap and toiletries for its Office portfolio. This ongoing supply contract offers Two Good a dependable revenue stream, ensuring funding certainty for their vital work. It exemplifies how corporate procurement can be leveraged to support social enterprises and drive meaningful change.

The collaboration is mutually beneficial: Charter Hall receives high-quality products and services it would otherwise source elsewhere, while Two Good gains the financial stability and customer demand needed to grow. This model strengthens Two Good’s business resilience and supports its mission to empower vulnerable women, demonstrating how thoughtful partnerships can foster long-term social good.
