Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX: CLW) today announced the appointment of Ms Carmel Hourigan as Executive Director of the Responsible Entity for CLW, Charter Hall WALE Limited (CHWALE). Ms Hourigan’s appointment will take effect from today.

Ms Hourigan is the Charter Hall Office CEO and brings a wealth of experience to the CHWALE Board, with more than 28 years’ experience in the real estate investment industry, spanning key senior leadership positions and roles in funds management, investment, research and advisory services.

Ms Hourigan is a current Board director of the Property Council of Australia; serves as Special Advisor to the Property Male Champions of Change group; and is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute. Ms Hourigan is also a member of the Trustee Board and is Deputy Chancellor of Western Sydney University.

Charter Hall Group Managing Director and CEO and Executive Director of CHWALE David Harrison said:
