Charter Hall Retail Management Limited, as responsible entity of Charter Hall Retail REIT (ASX: CQR) (CQR or the REIT) today announces the estimated distribution amount for the six months ending 30 June 2020 is 10.0 cents per unit.
On 27 April 2020, CQR conducted an institutional placement and noting that earnings and distribution guidance had been withdrawn, indicated that the distribution for 2HFY20 would take into account the operating cashflow generated during the period.
The estimated distribution of 10.0 cents per unit for the six month period has been calculated taking into account actual and estimated COVID-19 tenant support for 2HFY20, operating cashflow and assumes no further material change in market conditions. This estimated distribution represents approximately 70% of anticipated operating earnings per unit for the 2HFY20.
The payment will be made in accordance with the following timetable:
Ex-distribution date: Monday, 29 June 2020
Record date: Tuesday, 30 June 2020
Payment date and dispatch of distribution and taxation statements: Friday, 28 August 2020
CQR confirms that its distribution reinvestment plan is suspended and will not be in operation for this distribution payment. If any changes occur in this regard, the Australian Securities Exchange and security holders will be advised at the appropriate time.
CQR will confirm its final distribution amount for the six months ended 30 June 2020 when it announces its 2020 annual results on Thursday, 13 August 2020.
